Specialist Ag Recruitment Agency Set to Make Connecting Employers and Job Seekers a More Tailored and Seamless Experience

This week’s launch of a brand new specialist Ag recruitment agency, Crop, is set to make the search for the right candidate or the right job a whole lot more effective for one of Australia’s most buoyant industries.

The vision behind the start-up is to connect employers and job seekers within Australia’s thriving food and fibre businesses.

Crop will act as a platform through which good people can be connected with good agribusinesses and vice versa. Starting this week, job seekers and employers can visit the website and sign up to be able to take advantage of an introductory offer of free job listings for the month of March, before a pricing schedule comes into play in April.

The website has been designed and built to ensure a seamless experience for job seekers and employers alike, offering a variety of recruitment services including job postings, resumé templates, industry resources and career tips.

Unlike other recruiters, the team at Crop understand the Australian Ag sector because it’s who they are and where they come from.

With the Governments Job Keeper payment scheme coming to an end later this month, the launch of Crop could prove very timely for the industry.

It’s natural to expect a hike in job seekers as businesses adjust to the end of the wage subsidy scheme initially, and Crop will be ready and available to help those people secure new roles as swiftly as possible, ensuring the right fit for both parties.

In saying this though, whilst the COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly had an impact on global economies, in Australia the Ag sector has largely gone against the grain and retained or grown its revenue through this period.

Better seasonal conditions and subsequent higher demand for farm inputs and livestock were saving graces during a time where a lot of the world was falling into recession.

Crop has been launched to contribute to the ongoing growth of prosperity of the Australian Ag sector, and can do this by facilitating the process of attracting and matching the right people with the right businesses.

Ultimately – the goal is to grow Australian Ag by growing great connections.

You can register as an employer or job seeker at From April 1 for employers, job listings will start at $180 AUD, with options for bundle discounts. Job seekers can register and utilise the platform free of charge.
